Until today, I thought High Fructose Corn Syrup was the problem; and now I know better. The video is a little long, but 1.5 hours spent watching this video just might add years to your life.
For the past few years I’ve been reading the labels on food and passing over anything that says “High Fructose Corn Syrup”. Quite a few things have made it into my regular menu despite rather high sugar contents. Tonight I realized one of my favorite breads had as the third largest ingredient “Organic Sugar Cane Concentrate” (liquid sucrose), which turns out to not be any better.
Sucrose, High Fructose Corn Syrup, they are both equally toxic. That was something new I learned today.
