For manhy months now there have been the occasional blips onb the news radar with stories of how recent vetrans of the armed forces have had an unusually high incident rate of suicide. I chalked it up to the particular horrors of the current conflicts being fought by the US. Sometimes fearing the worst isn’t enough to prepare you for the truth:
